Lithology and Thickness
Limestone and dolomite. This Formation can be subdivided into three parts. Lower part, 337 m thick, is composed of gray, grayish-black thin- to medium-bedded bioclastic limestones and asphaltene limestones with banded structure and wavy bedding intercalated with dolomitic limestone. Middle part, 300 m thick, consists of grayish thin to thick-bedded calcareous dolomites, fine-grained crystalline dolomitic limestones. Upper part, 406 m thick, is dominated by light grayish medium- to thick-bedded limestone with banded limestone and clayey limestone and grayish-green shales at the lower and breccia limestone at the top.
